EPIC WIN, MARY.

It's been a while since I did an "episode review", aka squealing over random events in random episodes.

So here are my documented squeeings, placed all out of order:

~MARYYYYYYYYYYYY! SHE'S GOT HER "OUT THE AIRLOCK" MOVE AGAIN!
~HEHE, I FINALLY LEARNED HOW TO TAKE SCREENSHOTS. XD
~THE BLONDE LOOKS SOOOOOO FUGLY. XD
~AHAHAHAHA THE BLONDE WAS TOTALLY CHECKING OUT MARY'S ASS. AND THINKING, "IT'S NOT FAIR THAT CAPT. RAYDER IS HOT AND I'M NOT!" LOL
~RAYDER=RAIDER. I LOVE CROSSOVERS.
~I WANT MARY'S HAIR. AND GLASSES. AND TRENCH COAT OF AWESOME.
~OMG IT'S AIRLOCK!ROSLIN!MARY!!!!! HER "I'M QUESTIONING YOU, BITCH" VOICE IS SOOOOO AWESOME.
~I LOVE HOW MARY HAS TO EXPLAIN WHAT A BREATHALYZER IS. LOL.
~[points to subject] THAT IS THE EPIC-EST QUOTE EVER. WHY DIDN'T ROSLIN EVER USE THAT ON PEOPLE? THEY WOULD HAVE PEED THEIR PANTS AND COWERED LIKE LITTLE GIRLS. BILL WOULD HAVE TOTALLY DONE THE WHOLE "yes sir, okay sir, anything you say, sir" ROUTINE ON HER, TOO. ;]
~"do you need help with the word 'immediately'?" HOLY CRAP, MARY. *immediately melts into fangirl goo. IMMEDIATELY.*
~HAHAHAHAHA BLONDIE IS ALL LIKE "captain Rayder, it's so nice to finally meet you." AND MARY IS ALL LIKE "yeah whatever bitch now give me the info that I want or I'll airlock you." AND BTW BLONDIE, GET A BETTER ACCENT.
~AHHAHA BLONDIE JUST HAD TO PULL OUT THE RANKS SCHTICK BECAUSE SHE WAS GETTING PWNED BY MARY'S HOTNESS. AHAHAHAHAHAHA DIDN'T SHE KNOW THAT MARY WAS PREZ ONCE AND CAN TOTALLY AIRLOCK HER ASS, CHIEF OR NOT?
~Blondie has a kitty. Kitty is more awesome than Blondie. LOL.
~HAHAHAHA. IN YO' FACE, BLONDIE. "I must go first! My investigation must go first!" Blondie: 0, McAwesome: too many to count
~GO MARRRRRRRRYYYYYY! THAT'S RIGHT, BLONDIE. SUCK IT. MARY WAS PREZ ONCE; SHE KNOWS MORE LAW THAN YOU DO. Granted, it's the laws of the Twelve Colonies, but they're a spin-off of U.S. laws. And LAPD sounds like Los Angeles Police Department (only an hour away? SQUEEEEE!), which means this takes part in the U.S....
~"It... won't..." LOLOLOLOLOL HERE'S ONE GUY WHO KNOWS THE POWER OF THE MCAWESOME.
~Blondie: still 0, McAwesome: still too many to count. AND MCAWESOME HAS A REALLLLLLY SEXY STRUT IN THAT HALLWAY SCENE.
~BLONDIE DOESN'T LAIKKKK MARRRRY; SUCKS FOR HER COS IF YOU ALIENATE MARY, YOU ALIENATE HER FANGIRLS. LOL.
~I LOVE HOW MARY'S SO FEMINIST IN THIS EP! FILED COMPLAINTS AGAINST A BUNCH OF DOCS FOR BEING MYSOGINISTIC BASTARDS? LOLOLOLOLOL! FOUR MONTHS OF SENSITIVITY TRAINING? LOLOLOLOL!
~BLONDIE'S THOUGHTS AT THE HOSPITAL/MORGUE/WHATEVER: "maybe if I wear glasses like Mary's I'll get more fangirls?"
~AHAHAHAHAHAHA BLONDIE'S PISSSSSSSSSED OFF AT MARY LOLOLOLOLOLOL Blondie: 0, McAwesome: enough to feed a third-world country
~Some pretty frakking dramatic shots of Blondie trying to outdo Mary - as if - and trying to solve the puzzle...
~Kyra Sedgewick can't pull off suffering faces and voices as well as Mary. Just sayin'.
~KITTTTTTTTYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! NOOOOOOO, DON'T DIEEEEEE, KITTTTTTYYYYYYYY!
~"all I did was give an eighteen-year-old boy some free legal advice!" lol, Blondie. Repeat after me: denial IS a river in Egypt...
~MARY HAS A REALLY EPIC SMIRKKKKKK! *drool*
~Double-yoo-tee-eff. Blondie, there's a BIG difference between Afghanistan and Israel. For one, they're faaaaaaar apart. And most people in the Middle East are Muslims, while Parcell (if that's how you spell his name) is Jewish (or at least, he volunteered at a Jewish community center). BIIIIIG diff. If this murder was revenge from people fighting in Afghanistan, it would make better sense for the murderer to target a Muslim newsstand guy. So yes, it MAKES A LOT OF DIFFERENCE WHERE YOU COME FROM IN THE MIDDLE EAST, BLONDIE.
~Waaaaaaaaaait a sec... don't you get search warrants BEFORE you tear up someone's backyard? Or am I being a dunce and forgetting the whole process again?
~WTF. Why did Eric call Parcell a Muslim? Wasn't Parcell a Jew?
~AHA. I was right. IN YO FACE, ERIC.
~KITTTTTTTTTTTYYYYYYYYYY! *sobs*
I guess that's that. Can't wait to see more epic Maryness! :]

LOL I think that was the point, though, that the boys though they targeted a muslim.

I think they were able to take that part of the fence because the fence also belonged to the neighbor where they were currently at.

Other than that, though, I completely adore Captain Raydor, but I am totally biased, because I will love any character Mary plays. LOL

heh- I disagreed with one of her fics(just didn;t like the idea) and the bitch blocked me from commenting in her LJ or even sending her messages. I recently wanted to comment on one of her other fics, a pretty good one, when I realised I couldn't. So, I think I am not watching the episode anytime soon. heh.

May I be frank?

Sometimes your outspokenness can drive others away. Personally I admire it, but it can get a little grating on nerves.

Usually if there's a fic you don't like, don't comment. If you JUST HAVE TO, comment politely. Did you think that I was speaking my heart out to [livejournal.com profile] lady_adama when I commented on that Fic Which Shall Not Be Named? Nooooo, I worded it out on paper and changed my tone before typing it up, saving the bitchiness for my own LJ (it's my lj and I'll be as bitchy as I want, kthnx). If you have to write out a negative review and you're not Simon Cowell (have you heard of American Idol? Simon's the mean judge), word it in the politest way possible and then fume about it endlessly on your own LJ under a friendslock. ;]

Heh- I know I may be harsh, but this is not the case. There were exactly 8 words I used to comment on her fic- "Actually I am not into femlash fics, too..." This was my whole comment and I received some pretty harsh answers, so I am actually happy that she blocked me- I don't communicate with someone with such fragile ego that she needs to block everyone who does not admire every single step of hers. And to say this was my first comment- no, I usually admire her work. It was not fair to get punished for one disagreement.

Yeah, I know the rule about polite comments although you know my opinion about bitching about anyone's fic but maybe I should start bithcing, too so I would deserve my next blocking.

Hey, bitching about fanfic is usually easier to justify than bitching about the author. I didn't bitch about the author; I try to keep my fanfic!rants centered on the fic. I don't know the author, so what do I have to complain about them personally?

(maybe low self esteem if people really do and create Mary Sues...)

Maybe it would have been better if you tried to look for a good point to balance out the bad. If I do recall, I commented that [livejournal.com profile] lady_adama had an interesting idea, it's just that the execution of it went awry and out of character. The reason I escaped was because I complimented as well as criticized.

Oh, I am not justyfying, just saying that blocking was overreaction and makes me laugh. But I have noticed that most writers have such a fragile ego that it is more tragic than annoying, so I'm fine with that- it is hopeless and unchangable :P

Yeah, well, as a whole maybe we take the fanfiction way too seriously than it should be taken... I read about soo many dramas in misscam's LJ lately- people without anything better to do with their lives. Sometimes it is nice to shut the computer down and go for a walk...

Hm.

Well, some people are addicted to the 'Net. They can't shut the computer down; it'll be like killing a best friend.

Personally, I take fanfic seriously because it helps me improve my writing skills - characterization, plot, description, grammar/mechanics, and even erotica. I consider it "personal homework". Others don't care and they're usually the ones with the nearly undecipherable stories that cause all the wankage going on in various sporking comms. Many of us writers prefer to have our source material - the Canon - handled with care... it's a very obsession-like thing, I guess. :P

I feel like I'm rambling.

yeah, best friend, indeed. I feel like that sometimes, too, but when the best friend becomes someone who gives you trouble and drains you emotionally, then it is time to get so,me fresh air :P

Oh, no- I didn't mean not to take writing seriously, it is great to approach with care and seriousness these matters, I meant that sometimes the drama taken out of the fanfics is too much and unneccessary. Writing is about developing your skills, not going into endless fights over it... it is useless for everyone.
