grrr. why can't we ever have snow days?

We have to write odes in Language Arts, and I wrote one for A/R. It doesn't feel very ode-ish, though. *sigh*

[Error: unknown template qotd]I came up with this name in fifth grade as the name for a character, and it stuck, even after I had trashed the story and forgotten all about it.

Lily is... well, a lily. It can be short for Lilith, which is a pretty name (for such an ugly background), but I think I really got it from Lily Evans (from Harry Potter).

Winterwood is a little more complicated. Back in fifth grade we were reading "Walk Two Moons", and one of the characters' name was Phoebe Winterbottom. I think that's where the Winter part comes in. Screw the fact that I like woods in winter and that I was born in December. Yes, frak that.
The wood part... I guess I just really like forests in winter. Go figure. *shrug*

So that's my username. Random, really. But I'm too unoriginal to do anything about it. And I still kinda like it. No one else has it, so I get to claim it first everywhere I go. Hee!
