Something I did in school today...

One of my friends is currently in a very, very nice relationship with a guy named David. This morning, they were sitting together in THE most adorable pose. I didn't have a camera, but I did have a pencil. So I sketched the pose. I had drawn it on the back of some printout to save paper, so I edited out the lines on the back  as nicely as I can...

Niiiice!!! They're so cute!!! You're really good at drawing cartoons. Wow!

Thanks! I wish I had your sketching people skillz. I'm okay with flowers and animals, but I fail at humans...

Ok see I can't draw animals either. LOL. I'm basically stuck with faces. LOL

Took me a few months before I could sketch an animal and not make it look crappy. :]

But faces are practically the most important features of a human, so yeah.

And your Laura really looked like Laura!

That's the problem with me. I try to draw Laura and she either turns out cartoonish or just plain Scary.

'M practicing... :P

Well nothin' wrong with cartoonish ;-)

But thing I noticed about drawing Mary is that although she's really beautiful, her features (to me) are unique. Not at all like the other women I've sketched before. Especially her nose and just the basic contours of her face. Believe me, in between my first Laura drawing and this one, I frakked up a couple which I promptly threw in the trash. She's really tough to draw. Which makes me shudder when I think about tackling Adama next. OMG... LOL

That's why we love em so much...
My science teacher is already challenging enough to sketch. Her features are so balanced out that there's no real defining point to focus upon, like the eyes and stuff.
