One of the worst (in my opinion) fanfics out there in the BSG fandom involves a bunch of vampires. I don't even wanna call it by its proper name. I'll just call it "Battlestar Twilightica".

Words do not describe the level of bad that fic is. I'd be lying if I said I didn't read it for the lolz though. Because it's just... wow. I mean, that line. *runs to quote properly*

"You Laura, are more than food to me. You are after all soon to be my bride..."

That shit right there is EPIC. <3. I don't know if it's a satirical masterpiece or just SRSBSNS. If it's the former, I'll bow down. If it's the latter, I will cry from the tears of joy and my hope in humanity.

Why, I started hating it from the prologue, with this line:
Bill Adama grinned, "Then I'll have to take matters into my own hans. The Roslin's owe me big time. As I heart it she's the last, and I am betting she knows nothing of the deal made between her family and myself."

Saul chuckled, "Don't mess with the Prince of Caprica City!"

"You got that freaking right! For countless centuries, Kindred prospered and pursued their own schemes and desires. We are invincible, standing above humans in our understanding and awareness of the true nature of the world. We live openly and arrogantly among mortals, relying on our power and human superstition to preserve them."
And all those references to vampire culture, the oro-whatevs and the nosferatu and stuff... I don't gets it. I thought this was BSG fanfic, not some Original Fic with a lot of names ripped off of BSG. *sulks*

I read it because of the title. Honestly, anyone who can't do a decent title has a suspicious story in my book.

Next week or so you might want to keep tabs on this journal along with unavitasegreta. I'll be posting a Protectors of the Plot Continuum mission where two Assassins go into the fic and play vampire slayer. I won't be plugging it on the adama_roslin comm because it focuses on sporking the badfic, and I believe the culprit author is also in the comm.
